The Carthage High School football team will officially begin the season with the annual Blue and White game Saturday at K.E. Baker Stadium.

Fans are invited to come and get and get an up close look at the 2009 CHS football team.
The Tigers, who will feature a different look without Central Ozark Conference all-conference quarterback Trey Derryberry under center, return five starters in their spread offense, including running back Brian Poston and WR/DB Devron Moore.

Carthage, coming off an 8-3 finish and a playoff berth last year, opens up the season on Friday, Aug. 28, at Ozark.
