Lindsay Terry had 15 assists and Andrea Westhoff tallied 11 digs, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Republic.

The Lady Tigers continued conference play Thursday evening, falling to Republic in two sets 18-25, 24-26 at Republic High School.

Jordan Jones finished with a game-high 20 assists to help Republic hold off the Lady Tigers in the second game, and Mallory Long had nine digs.

The Lady Tigers, now 17-6 overall and 2-2 in Central Ozark Conference play, travel to Neosho on Saturday for the Neosho High School Volleyball Tournament, slated to begin at 8:30 a.m.

In junior varsity play, Carthage downed Republic in three sets, 25-17, 19-25, 25-12. Carthage’s freshmen also came away with a victory in two games, knocking off Republic 26-24, 25-13.
