MSSU soccer proud to announce more newcomers to program
Missouri Southern women's soccer head coach Trevor Wachsman has announced that newcomers Jennifer Fulton, Danai Noftz and Megan Stueve will join the Lions' squad for the upcoming 2008 season.
Fulton, a native of Liberty, Mo., was a first-team all-district selection as a midfielder for the 2007 season. She contributed to the Liberty BlueJays winning three consecutive district championships and a sectional title in 2007. Fulton also competed in track for two seasons.
Noftz comes to MSSU from Littleton, Colo. and helped lead the Littleton Lions to consecutive playoff appearances during her sophomore and junior seasons. She was named the 2008 Female Athlete of the Year and earned Academic Honor Roll honors while competing in soccer, gymnastics and diving. Noftz also helped her club team to the Pueblo Cup Championship in 2004.
Stueve is a Lee's Summit, Mo. product and was a part of three consecutive soccer conference and district championships from 2006-08. She earned first-team all-conference honors twice while also notching a first-team all-district selection. She also participated in basketball and track, where she helped the basketball squad to back-to-back district titles.
This past season, the Lions tied the school record for wins by notching 11 victories for the third straight season. MSSU finished 11-5-3 overall and 7-5-2 in the MIAA.
