Mark your calendars for Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012: That’s the day the St. Louis Cardinals Caravan makes a return trip to Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.
The caravan will visit MSSU’s Leggett & Platt Athletic Center at noon. Activities include presentations from players and team representatives, souvenir giveaways and a chance for youngsters to get autographs.
Names of players who will be attending and more details will be available after the first of the year.
KGCS-TV is once again assisting with this year’s caravan visit.
“We’re proud to once again work with the Cardinals in providing an opportunity for local fans to attend the caravan,” says Judy Stiles, KGCS general manager. “We anticipate the upcoming visit to be well attended, especially since the team is coming off a World Series championship.”
