Perhaps the results were fitting, but the top-three scores in each flight of the CMGA Family Scramble held on Friday at the Carthage Golf Course were exactly the same.
In the championship flight the teams of Aaron and Glen Borland, Kyle and Lowell Catron and Garrett Roberts and Joe Borland all shot matching 61s. In the A Flight, Jim and Deric McClellan, Dusty and Kelly Smith, and Dave and Kevin Buell each carded a 69.
Meanwhile, in the B Flight, Tom and Aaron Wells, Mike and Jeremy Stein, and Don and Linda Brister each shot a 72. In the C Flight, Dave and Stan Newby, David and Judy Gumm and John and Carolyn Mericle each shot a 75.
Garrett Craig won the Closest To the Pin contest on hole-three, Dustin Edge took six, Mark Peterson was closest on eight, Glen Borland won 12 and Judy Gumm topped the competition on 17.
