- In 2010, planners set up 600 chairs with the tables on the floor of Memorial Hall and many of those chairs had an adult and child in them. Hundreds more lined the walls and packed the balcony for the 2010 La Verne Williams Carthage Police Department Christmas Party for kids. This year the party has been divided in two to reduce the crowding.
