Dear Editor:
As anyone who has ever been to a country where the people have better access to health care knows, a conscience of taking care of the people around you causes a spirit of happiness that leads to a more productive and creative society. This leads to less crime and safer streets for the children to play in. Healthy people dont get desperate. But the imbalance in this country for adequate health care cause much of the social problems that aren't even attributed to it.
Fear of the cost of health care also causes normal nice human beings to live with untreated ailments of every type from physical to mental problems walking the streets of the land where the insurance executives also have to live. Until the people start to consider that they share this planet with all its other inhabitants or at the very least are concerned about human sickness then these things will continue.
Ghandi stated that the Earth supplies enough resources to take care of human need, just not enough for human greed.
I hope you can do something about this and help the U.S. rise up to the level of other true 1st world nations!
