• To all law enforcement agencies of the region who, when they work together harmoniously, help to assure peace and safety for all law-abiding citizens, using network communication methods and solving many crimes before they can be committed.

•  To all who have cooperated in the area planning and observance of National Day of Prayer, putting aside differences and acting in harmony.

 • To every team member of the area who gives priority to what’s best for the team and for the entity it represents instead of selfish personal goals.

 • To officers of the Lamar Police Department, Barton County Sheriff’s Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol who recently worked smoothly together to prevent a potential major riot on the Lamar square. They halted, while still in the preparatory stages, a developing clash between competing youth groups of Lamar and Nevada.
