Jazmen Marie Schlechter, 3, Carthage, Mo., passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident. 

Jazmen was the daughter of Sheala and James Schlechter Jr. 

Survivors include her mother, Sheala Schlechter (nee Wright) of Carthage; her father, James Schlechter Jr., of Springfield, Mo.; paternal grandparents, James and Patricia Schlechter of Arnold, Mo., along with her Aunt Kristen and Uncle Brandon Schlechter; great-grandparents, Harry and Marge Achermann of Isabella, Mo.; great- uncle Dennis Baughman Jr. and uncle Jacob Baughman; maternal grandparents, Albert and Stephanie Wright of Carthage. Jazmen of age 3 was preceded in death by her mother’s boyfriend, Earl Wayne McAfee, 19, and her brother, Neil Wayne McAfee of age 4 months. Our beloved daughter, granddaughter and niece,

Jazmen, will be carried in our hearts forever.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the church. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage.
