Evaline Louise Adams, 84, Carthage, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Carthage Health and Rehabilitation.

Evaline was born Oct. 15, 1923, in Plattsburg, Mo., to the late Lawrence and Merdith Dubry.

Evaline worked and retired from Fairview Greenhouse of Carthage in 1988.

Evaline is survived by one son, Kenneth Adams and wife Jeannie of Carthage; two granddaughters, Shawna Carter, Kendall Howard and husband Cecil both of Carthage; two great-grandsons, Jeremy Bland and Justin Howard of Carthage; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Buck Dubry and Homer Dubry, three sisters, May Weeks, Catherine Metsker and Opal Bass.

Memorial visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel.
