Memorial Graveside service for Barbara Ann Brown Sanders, 80, of Duncan,  will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug., 30, 2008 ,at Red Oak Cemetery, Red  Oak, Mo., with Edward "Rick" Fannie, officiating.

Mrs Sanders died on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, in Duncan, Okla.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

Barbara Ann Brown was born on July 26, 1928, in Armiesburg, Ind., to Virgil and Mary Tucker Brown. She grew up in Indiana where she attended local schools and graduated from Mecca High School in 1946. She married Ted W. Sanders on May 31, 1947 in Clinton, Ind. They moved to Duncan, Okla. in 1991. He preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 2002. She was a member of  the Family Christian Church Ladies group of Marlow. She was a member of Parkeville Christian Church, Rockville, Indiana.  She enjoyed reading books, quilting, needlepoint, and painting.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Ted Allen and Lynn Lee Sanders, of Duncan, Okla.; her daughter and son-in-law: Donna Rose and Kenneth W. Britt, of Ashburn, Va.; a brother-in-law: Leslie Sanders, of Webb City, Mo.; her sister: Nell Rose Brown, of Crawfordsville, Ind.; three sisters-in-law: Mrs. Gene Wilson, Mrs. Joe Sanders, and Mrs. Frank Zerbonia, all of Carthage, Mo.; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
