Frank E. Johnson, 69, Jasper, died at 4:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 at the Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar.

Johnson was born on April 12, 1939, in Rye County, Colo., to Frank W. and Flora (Duprez) Johnson.
He worked as a truck driver for TDC and served in the U.S. Army. He married Virginia Sickels on Dec. 27, 1966, at Miami, Okla. She preceded him in death on June 13, 1997.

Survivors include his mother, Flora Johnson, Carthage; a son, Skip Johnson, Jasper; twin daughters, Karrin Johnson and Karria Johnson and three grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at the Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper. The body has been cremated.
