Robert E. Kissel, 49, Diamond, died at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at his home in Diamond, following a sudden illness.
Mr. Kissel was born July 3, 1959, in Carthage, the son of Charles Dwight Kissel, Sr. and Lavone (Frisbie) Kissel. He graduated from Diamond High School and had worked at Atlas Powder and Mediacom Cable. He attended Diamond Christian Church.
Robert is survived by two sons, Derek Shane Kissel and Matthew Steven Kissel and wife, Delanya, Diamond; one daughter K’Dee Marie Kissel, Diamond; his parents, Charles and Lavone Kissel, Diamond; one brother, Charles D. Kissel, Jr., Diamond and two nephews, Chris Kissel and Joshua Kissel, Joplin.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 22, 2008 at Diamond Christian Church, Mike Wardlow, Minister will officiate.
Burial will be in the Diamond Cemetery, Diamond.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
