Robert W. Hall, 66, of Joplin, passed away at 12:35 p.m., Sept. 27, 2008, at Freeman’s West Hospital.

Robert was born to Howard and Elene (Hollawell) Hall on April 27, 1942, in Anderson, Ind.

Mr. Hall had worked as engineer for Ford Motor Co. for several years and retired back to the Joplin area. He was an avid poker and Black Jack player. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He married Peggy Widner on Dec. 11, 1976, in Tulsa, Okla. She survives.

Other survivors also include three stepdaughters: Kimber Boman, Joplin, Lynnette Cole, Neosho, Linda Cummings, Rogersville; one brother, Ronald Hall, Frankton, Ind.; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way due in December; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Elene Hall, one son Benjamin Hall, and one daughter, Julie Hall.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Sept. 30, 2008, at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel.
