Curtis W. Dickson, 52, formerly of Carthage, passed away at 2:29 a.m., Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, in Springfield, Mo.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1957, in Carthage. Curtis was the son of Mack Dickson, Sr. and Marcella “Farris” Dickson. Curtis attended the Methodist Church.
Curtis is survived by his mother Marcella of Carthage; two brothers Mack Dickson, Jr. of Kansas City, Mo.; Oliver Dickson of Carthage and two sisters Charlene Ruth Jackson of Springfield, Virginia and Diane Farris Dickson of Plano, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
Curtis is preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and Howard Dickson and a grandmother Bessie Farris.
Chapel Services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at the Ulmer Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Carthage.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
