Carl W. McCall, age 71, passed away June 6, 2009, at 10:35 p.m. at his home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1937, in Webb City to Virgil W. and LaVerne Beautte McCall.
Carl retired from the US Army, having served during the Vietnam War, after 22 years of active service.
Survivors include his wife, Felicia Vogelgesang McCall of 28 years; sons, Robert McCall of Findlay, Ohio, and Brantley Funderburke of Carthage, Mo., daughters, Monica Yates of Eagle River, Alaska, and Dana Gilstrap of Carthage, Mo., a brother, Gary McCall of Detroit, Mich.; sister, Barbara Farr of Marietta, Ga.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charlie McCall and son, Joseph L. Funderburke, Jr.
Memorial Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at the Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with Rev. Jim Ricke officiating.
Burial with full military honors will follow at the Webb City Cemetery.
