Mrs. Cynthia Rose “Cindy” Baker Olson, 55 years of Crossroads, Texas, formerly of Carthage, Mo., departed this life suddenly on Friday, June 26, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident which also claimed the life of her daughter, son in-law and her grandson.
Cindy entered this life on Nov. 3, 1953, in Bakersfield, Calif., born to the union of the late Harley and Glenda K. (Wooten) Baker. Her family moved to Carthage, Mo., when she was five years old.
She was a 1971 graduate of Carthage High School and was Barn Warming Queen in 1969. She resided in Carthage for several years before moving to the state of Texas. She was an Inventory Specialist for Excellerate in Plano, Texas.
She is survived by her uncle, David Wooten and wife, Tara, of Joplin, Mo.; a cousin, Tammy Grimm of Sarcoxie, Mo.; her step-father, Leonard Quade of Carthage, Mo.; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services for Mrs. Olson will be held on Monday evening, July 6, 2009, at the Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary Chapel in Joplin, Mo.
