CARTHAGE, Mo. -
Arthur William Stafford, 79, of Carthage died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at McCune-Brooks Hospital.
He was born on July 14, 1928, near Ft. Scott, Kan., and was the son of the late Charlie and Mattie Stafford.
Arthur was employed at Fair Acres for 32 years and Carthage Health and Rehab for five years.
On Nov. 11, 1974, Arthur married Ina Stinnett in Miami, Oklahoma and she survives. He is preceded in death by one brother Samuel J. Stafford.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2008, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carthage.
Arrangements are under direction of Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage.
