Vikki “Hartman” Houlihan, 53, of Carthage died at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1955, in Neosho, Mo., and was the daughter of Leslie and Florence “Baird” Hartman.
Vikki worked for Schreiber Foods Inc in Carthage for 35 years. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church of Carthage. Vikki also enjoyed Camping and boating at Clearwater Lake near Piedmont, Mo., Home Interior Parties and she was famous for her chicken noodles.
On Nov. 5, 1988, Vikki married Dave A. Houlihan in Miami, Okla. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Corey Lindsey of Joplin, Mo.; two daughters, Calee Houlihan of Carthage, Mo., and Casey “Lindsey” Perry and husband Chris; her parents, Leslie and Florence Hartman of Carthage, Mo.; one brother, Larry Hartman of Jasper, Mo.; and one sister Terry Mahurin of Oronogo, Mo.; two grandchildren, Ty and Cael Perry; her Mother-in-law and best friend, Diane Houlihan of Carthage, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008, at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. Burial will follow at Hackney Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Relay for Life.
