Nadine Chadd, 88, of Jasper, Mo., passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage, Mo.
She was born on Feb. 13, 1920. She was the daughter of Perry and Mae Grant and she was a homemaker.
Nadine was united in marriage on Feb. 24, 1936, to Carl Chadd. Carl and Nadine were married 59 years. He preceded her in death on April, 26, 1995.
She had six children. A son, Carl Dean, preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1958.
Surviving children are Betty Thurman, Carthage, Mo., Leroy and Saundra Chadd, Kansas City, Mo., Helen and Ed Henson Cordova, Tenn., Karen Brewer, Jasper, Mo., Vicki and Curt Stokes, Carthage, Mo., 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 15, 2008, at Weng Funeral Chapel of Jasper, Mo.
Burial will be at GreenLawn Cemetery, in Jasper, Mo.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m., today, Sept. 14, 2008, at Weng Funeral Chapel.
