Funeral services for Norma Louise Bowman, 80, who passed away Friday Feb. 19, 2010 at St. John’s Medical Center, Springfield, Mo., were held Tuesday Feb. 23, 2010 at 10 a.m.  at the Knell Mortuary Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Larson officiated. Jack Phillips assisted. Donita Reid sang “Mama’s Garden”, Norma’s granddaughter, Anna Gillmore sang “Will the Circle be Unbroken” her granddaughter, Alisha Weldin gave testimony about her grandmother. Other musical selections were, “Amazing Grace” and “Beyond the Sunset”. Gary Bowman II, Lee Gilliam, Shawn Richards, Floyd Miller, Ronnie Gillmore, Frank Miller and Zach Weldin were pallbearers. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage, Mo.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice in care of the Knell Mortuary.
