Michael Moore 47, Carthage, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Mo.
He was born Feb. 1, 1962, in Fontainebleu, France, the son of Michael William Moore and Doris Margaret (Cox) Moore. His father preceded him in death.
He attended school in England. He was a supervisor for Leggett & Platt Branch One, Carthage, Mo. He loved his four dogs and enjoyed fishing and watching English futball.
His Mother, Doris Moore, West Wellow, England, fiancée Kathy Harris, Carthage, Mo., one son, Thomas Oliver Moore, London, England, one daughter, Rebecca Moore, London, England, one step-daughter, Faith Thompson, Carthage, Mo., one step-son, Tyler Harris, Carthage, Mo., a sister, Helen Jane Curtis, Plateford, England, and a brother, Gordon Neville Moore, West Wellow, England survive him.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010, at the Knell Mortuary Chapel. The Rev.Joe Turner will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Knell Mortuary, Carthage, Mo.
Family request in lieu flowers, memorial contributions be made in care of the funeral home.
