Earl Wayne McAfee, Jr., 19, Carthage, Mo., passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident. 

Wayne was born Aug. 6, 1989, in St. Joseph, Mo., the son of Earl Wayne McAfee, Sr. and Trasa Lynn (Molloy) McAfee.  He was a high school graduate and was a construction worker in the surrounding area.  He was a member of Fairview Community Church, Gallatin, Mo. 

Survivors include his fiancé, Sheala Wright, Carthage; mother, Trasa Lynn McAfee and Step-father, Randy McCullough, Carthage; his father, Earl Wayne McAfee Sr. and step-mother, Sherry, Flowood, Miss.; two sisters, Emily Lynn McAfee, Gallatin, Mo., and Alexandria Graham, Montreal, Mo.; one brother, Brycen Levi McAfee, Carthage, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Albert McAfee and “Aunt” Carrie McAfee, Gallatin, Mo.; paternal grandmother, Donna Sterling, St. Joseph, Mo.; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Vanda Davis, Gallatin, Mo. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Molloy and his son, Neil Wayne McAfee and daughter, Jazmen Schlechter.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage. 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, in Fairview Christian Church. Rev. Kenneth Musgrove will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage, Mo. 

Memorials in memory of Earl Wayne McAfee Jr., Neil Wayne McAfee and Jazmen Marie Schlechter may be made to US Bank, 2208 Grand Ave., Carthage, Mo., to help cover funeral expenses.
