Erma Lee Stark, age 75, Carthage, passed away at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Landmark Hospital.

Erma was born Jan. 15, 1935, in LaRussell, Mo., to the late Bert Dunkle and Bertha Royster Dunkle and had lived in the area all of her life.  
She was a homemaker.

Erma married Wilbur Stark on June 16, 1980, in Carthage. He preceded her in death in 1998.

Survivors include four brothers: Donald Dunkle and his wife, Kay, Webb City, Larry Dunkle and his wife, Shurley, Carthage, Gary Dunkle and his wife, Angie, Carthage, Michael Dunkle, Carthage; five sisters, Barbara Jack and her husband, Phillip, Joplin, Carolyn Hill and her husband, Blynn, Purcell, Beverly Allen, Robert, Carthage, Janice Silvers and her husband, Jack, Carthage, Brenda Polman and her husband, Rick, Carthage; and many extended family members, including nieces; nephews and cousins.

Erma was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald and two sisters, Evelyn Dunkle and Thelma Barton.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage.  Rev. Larry Graham will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Spurgeon, Keith Spurgeon, Blynn Hill, Dewayne Dunkle, Benjamin Dunkle and Jack Silvers.
