Rebecca “Becky” Franklin, 57, of Carthage, passed away on March 5, 2010.
She was born on Dec. 13, 1952, in Traverse City, Mich. Becky was the daughter of Ted Easton and Carolyn “Stormer” Kennedy. She worked as a Bank teller at the US Bank formerly the Mercantile Bank. Becky was baptized in the Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Lexington, Mo.
Becky married Ray Franklin on April 1, 1989, in Eureka Springs, Ark. He preceded her in death in June 2002. She is also preceded in death by her father Ted Easton.
Becky is survived by two daughters Tracy Eden of Oronogo, Mo., and Heather Hall of Webb City, Mo.; her mother Carolyn (Easton) Kennedy and step-father, James Kennedy of Webb City, Mo.; one brother Dick Easton of Anderson, Mo.; four sisters Christie Sanders, Lori Holley, Kerri Myers all of Carthage, Mo., and Melissa Easton of Clever, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
