CARTHAGE, Mo. -
Paula Kay Sterrett, 48, of Carthage, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2008, at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1959, in Pensacola, Fla., the daughter of Gordon Raleigh Thrailkill and Jesse Virginia Wilson. Paula has been a resident of Carthage for the past three years, moving from Virginia Beach, Va.
Paula married Harlo E. Sterrett, III in Oct. 2001 in Virginia Beach, Va. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2005.
Paula is survived by one daughter Jennifer Helms and her husband Robbie of Carthage, two sisters; Pamela Gail Fofrich of Clyde, Ohio, and Patti Gay Haddock of Carthage, one nephew, Thomas James Thrailkill of Carthage and one Grandson, Jayden Helms.
The family extends a special thank you to a dear friend, Fernando Canseco and family.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2008, at Park Cemetery.
There will be open visitation.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research in care of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
