Charles Eugene Hart was born in Carthage, Missouri, September 23, 1942, the son of Orrin Hart Junior and Helen (Mahoney) Hart.

He died at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas, May 16, 2018.
Charles graduated with the Carthage High School class of 1962. Following that he was employed by Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, Washington, then by Boeing in Wichita, Kansas as a manufacturing tool coordinator for 35 plus years. He was extensively involved in the manufacture of Boeing Models 737, 747, 767 and 777. Charles retired in 2001.
Charles loved his family dearly. He enjoyed traveling and made many trips across the country to places of interest, including stops to enjoy his grandchildren.
Charles enjoyed laughing and being with friends. He played a variety of card games, including sectional bridge tournaments, and was a die-hard Jayhawks fan. He often asked people if they’d like to “make a contribution to the Hart Fund.” In recent years, he’d taken up the sport of Pickleball, playing in many tournaments, developing many friendships.
He was preceded in death by son Jeff Hart, daughter-in-law Shannon Hart, grandsons Jonathan and Sherman Nichols. He is survived by wife Beth Hart; daughter Carrie (Sherm) Nichols, son Michael Scott Hart; sisters Verna (Gary) Tindill, Gloria (Brooks) Gubser; grandchildren Rebekah (Aaron) Westerfield, Jared Hart, Jennifer (Mark) Pinta, Jeff Nichols, Andrew (Mallory) Nichols; great-grandchildren Talan and Aubrey Westerfield, Addilyn, Aaron, and Ellianna Pinta, and many nephews and nieces.
Memorial services for family will be at Pennsboro Cemetery, Dade County, Missouri, June 24.
