Marilyn Ann Ainsworth, age 81, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Higginsville, Boonville and Carthage, MO, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 17, 2017.

Marilyn Ann Ainsworth, age 81, of Orlando, FL, formerly of Higginsville, Boonville and Carthage, MO, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, September 17, 2017.
She was born Marilyn Ann Mueller on January 4, 1936 in Higginsville, MO, the oldest of three children, to Edward Eugene and Mabel Marie (Stuerke) Mueller. She married James Carson Ainsworth on January 29, 1956 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Higginsville, MO.
They are the parents of two children: Jami Lyn Smith (Buddie) of Orlando, FL and Gary Victor Ainsworth (Kristin) of Lexington, MA.
Marilyn was homecoming queen and graduated from Higginsville High School in 1954. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and wife. Her favorite activities included genealogy, cross-stitch needlepoint, having coffee with her friends, and playing rummy with her grandchildren, whom she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister Jean White.
She is survived by her two children, her beloved grandchildren:
Lindsay, Bradley and Brett Smith, of Florida,
James Ainsworth (Kait), of New Jersey
John, Jackson, Alexandra and Ryan Ainsworth of Massachusetts
Brother: Richard Mueller (Anna Greta) of Texas.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 30 from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at the Kaiser-Wiegers Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held at the Salem UCC Cemetery at noon.
There will be a luncheon following at the Salem Church.
Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
