Maureen Rogers, 95, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Friday July 14, 2017 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage, Missouri.

Maureen Rogers, 95, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Friday July 14, 2017 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage, Missouri.
Maureen was born April 8, 1922 in Barton County, Missouri to William Henry Rogers and Lelia Belle “Franklin” Rogers.
During her early employment she lived in Washington, D.C. where she worked for the U.S. Government, UNRRA, 79th Congress/House of Representatives and the American Aviation Association.
She was a retired legal secretary for various law firms in Las Angeles and Kansas City. Maureen lived the last 55 years in Kansas City, Missouri where she was a 35 year member of the Starlight Chapter, American Business Women’s Association (ABWA).
Maureen was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Denzelle McGinley and Ruth Rogers Mackey and one brother, Ivan Rogers. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 23, 2017 at Fasken Cemetery east of Carthage. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
