Virginia Edith “Edie” Brekken, 48, Carthage, Mo., passed away at her home on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017.
Edie was born June 5, 1969, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Lloyd Hall and Myrtle Vermilyea.
She graduated from Montclair High School, Montclair, California, in 1988.
She worked as a waitress for the Pancake Hut in Carthage for 12 years.
Edie is survived by her parents; two daughters, Percilla Brekken-Warner, Springfield, Missouri, and Sarra Brekken-Lankford, Joplin, Mo.; two sons, Brice Brekken and Joshua Brekken, Carthage, Mo., and two grandchildren, Jonathan and Kaydence Warner.
Memorial Services and a private funeral inurnment will be announced at a later date.
