Gail V. Hurlbut, age 64, of Exeter, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.

Gail V. Hurlbut, age 64, of Exeter, Mo., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.  
Mrs. Hurlbut, daughter of Murrell Park and Juanita (Smithson) Edens, was born on Feb. 21, 1952, in Cassville.  
She was a 1970 high school graduate of Exeter High School and later received her bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern.  
Mrs. Hurlbut was employed as a paralegal for Senator Emory Melton and subsequently for the Collins, Webster and Rouse Law Firm in Joplin.  She loved animals and riding in hot air balloons.  
Mrs. Hurlbut’s family was very dear to her and she enjoyed spending time with them.  
She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church in Carthage.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Hurlbut and his wife Tina, of Harrison, Arkansas, and Keith Hurlbut and his wife Nicole, of Carthage; one daughter, Annette Weston, of Exeter; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two half-brothers, Jeff Park, of Roeland Park, Kansas, and Ronnie Park, of Kansas City; one half-sister, Sheila Lemon, of Kanas City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two half-brothers and one sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Haven of the Ozarks and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville with Pastor Kent Hogan officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Mo.
