Joplin resident charged with second degree murder

Jasper County Deputies were dispatched to 2805 N. Red Fox Road, Joplin, in reference to an assault with weapons. Information was given that two subjects were fighting and one subject had a bat and a knife.

Ralph Ivy, 50, of the residence, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he later died.

Aaron Eugene Pilgrim, 37, was arrested at a nearby residence. He was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center awaiting charges for 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action.
