Carthage police said no children were injured when a school bus rammed a car from behind on Fir Road near the intersection with Dr. Russell Smith Way.
The accident happened at approximately 3:25 p.m. Tuesday. Police Capt. Randee Kaiser said there were children on the school bus, but he did not know how many.
He said none of the children were injured in the incident.
Police said the fate of the drivers of the bus and the car or anyone else in the car could not be confirmed as of print time Tuesday.
The school bus was slightly damaged, but the rear of the car was badly damaged.
