Like they say on the poster for the event, it’s a chance to “see your favorite guys as you have never seen them before.”
Big Man on Campus, a fundraiser for the 2010 Project Graduation, will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4 at the Carthage R-9 Auditorium on Main Street next to the Carthage Junior High building.
Eight Carthage High School guys will get in touch with their feminine side as they dress in evening gowns and other female attire and compete in a full-fledged beauty pageant.
Debbie Wooldridge, an organizer of the event with Project Graduation 2010, said the contestants this year will be Riel Chairez, Hayden Vaughn, Quinton Scott, Zayre Hedge, Zac Evans, Kenny Sweet, Dalton Sprague and Carson John.
Hedge and Hayden Vaughn are veterans of this event, coming in first runner up and second runner up in the 2009 event.
Sweet was second runner up in the BMOC 2008 event.
Wooldridge said the students will make up stage names and compete in four different events; talent competition, evening gown competition, sexy legs and Q and A.
A “People’s Choice” winner will also be chosen from the crowd.
Tickets will be available at the door and will be $5 for adults and$2 for children. All the proceeds will go to the 2010 Project Graduation, a project to provide seniors with a safe place to party following graduation night.
