A Mount Vernon man was killed and a Carthage woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle, head-on crash on Missouri Highway HH west of Carthage Saturday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 8:15 p.m. three miles west of Carthage.
