We must allow God to occupy central position in our thoughts, our plans and our devotion. One of the important techniques involved in our walk of faith should be concentration upon God, to make every effort to strengthen our continuing awareness, knowing He always is with us and that while we enjoy the delight of His gracious touch and His assurance He will never forsake us and we are led to place His will first in every day, every moment, every challenge, every approaching cause of fear or doubt while we, as promised, can overcome all negative, discouraging developments that may loom upon the horizon of our mortal existence. It is then, especially then, that God makes His Presence real and full and His love embraces us in a way that makes it clear to us that everything we are, everything we dream, everything worthy thing we desire can be ours from the storehouse of His glory and in His time. In that awareness an eternity of security becomes our clear possession.
Knowing this is cause for great rejoicing and a renewal of our commitment to Him as the central power source of our being.
Thank God daily that this is true. And understand that this is far more than a mere bit of pulpit wandering but an expression of the true wonder involved in a personal relationship with God, a source of success that cannot fail. We know this when we remember that God always means what He says and always is true to His goals for us and for the totality of His Kingdom.
