Coming off one of their best performances in program history, the Carthage High School and Junior High show choirs are preparing to host their home competition this Saturday at Carthage High School.
Carthage Soundfest will last all day with performances starting at 8 a.m. and lasting through 11 p.m.
Admission is $5 for k-12 students, $10 for adults.
“This serves as our programs largest fundraiser and we are hoping to get a really good hometown crowd out to see our kids,” said director Katie Crigger. “Suite Sounds sings at 11:40 a.m., Soundwave at 6:30 p.m. and our junior high Sound Machine show choir at 7:45 p.m.”
At the Nevada Show Choir Festival last weekend, Suit Sounds and Soundwave won a slew of awards, including the first ever Grand Champion award for Soundwave.
