  • Supporters of St. Ann's School are sure to experience “la dolce vita” – the sweet life – Saturday, May 3.
With all the charm of Italy, St. Ann's will host the annual auction fundraiser at a new venue of the Congregation of the Mother Coredemptrix (CMC) auditorium, 1800 S. Grand Ave. The evening will give supporters new experiences with Italian dining and new items to bid on, as well as the traditional fun and fellowship the event provides year after year.
“The support for this event is strong in our community,” said event coordinator Heidi Gilligan. “I'm always surprised – It's such a nice event where people can come enjoy a dinner, entertainment and walk away with an item or two.”
The evening will begin at 6 p.m., with vocal entertainment, and visitors may “stroll down the piazza,” where craftsmen will be performing their talents. And of course, there will be a live and silent auction on a plethora of items. Just a few of the items include: a condo stay in Florida; handcrafted wine and bar cabinet; trip to Montana; backpack blower; original art; antique China dinnerware; gun cabinet; package to Indigo Sky Casino; a year's membership to 24 Fitness.
The winning ticket to the Vespa will be drawn too.
Tickets for this event may be purchased at Mother Road Coffee, Jerry Poston State Farm office, Schmidt & Associates and Ott's Food Products. For questions, please call the school at 358-4902.
St. Ann's School is a Montessori-based primary school which focuses on education for the whole child; academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
