Edwin “Bud” Cooper, 81, passed away on Oct. 3, 2013 at Freeman Hospital Joplin, Mo. surrounded by his Family. Bud was born March 17, 1932 in St. Paul, Kan. to John and Edna “Gilbreath” Cooper.
Edwin “Bud” Cooper, 81, passed away on Oct. 3, 2013 at Freeman Hospital Joplin, Mo. surrounded by his Family. Bud was born March 17, 1932 in St. Paul, Kan. to John and Edna “Gilbreath” Cooper. Bud was a longtime Carthage resident.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Master-Jackson construction and Mienfe construction for several years. Bud was a member of the Carthage Masonic Lodge #497 A.F. and A.M.
Bud was united in marriage to June Ford Feb. 27, 1966 in Oklahoma, she survives.
Bud is survived by one daughter Dianne Seal and husband Troy Aikman of Pittsburg, Kan. and two sons Greg Cooper and wife Piper of Archie, Mo. and LeRoy Cooper and wife Teresa of Wichita, Kan. Five grandchildren Seth Cooper and Ryan Cooper and wife Amber of Archie, Mo. Brandon Gaddis of Pittsburg, Kan., Crystal Mitchell and husband Dan of Pittsburg Kan., and Jared Seal of Pittsburg, Kan. Five great grandchildren Hunter, Hailee, and Presleigh Cooper, Gage and Gracia Gaddis all of Pittsburg, Kan. Four sisters and one brother.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday October 6, 2013 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Contributions can be made to the Risen Ranch Cowboy Church care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
