Enjoy bluegrass music at the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Festival at the NEMO Fair Grounds, 2700 E. Saturday, October 12th

 

Did you know Kirksville has a Roller Derby team?  The Nemo Viqueens will be competing here in Kirksville at the Kirksville High School Gym, 1300 S. Cottage Grove.  Doors open at 6 pm.  Action starts at 7 pm.  For more information  Arrive early because thered is no seating after 7 pm when the skates begin to roll.  More information at www.nemoviqueens.com

 

Tuesday, October 15th

Bring the whole family to the Adair County Public Library for THE LISTENING HOUR from 6-7 pm. Classic stories will be read by ATSU students.  October win feature adventure tales. Call 660-665-6038 for more information.

 

Thursday, October 17th

 Tethered hot air balloon rides sponsored by the SAB are available from 6-9 p.m.  The event will take place at the corner of LaHarpe and Franklin Streets just south of the Truman baseball field.  Rides will be available on a first come forst serve basis and there is a possibility that not all will be able to ride.  Tickets will be available at the evetnt and are free for students with a Truman ID and $5 for general admission. Non-Truman students must be 18 years or older to ride. For questions call 660-785-4722.
