Bill Still, 81, of Carthage, Mo., passed away July 7, 2013 in Joplin.
Bill was born July 23, 1931 to Virgil Walter Still and Goldie Marie (Epps) Still in Miller, Mo. Bill was a long-time Kansas City resident; he retired to Carthage about 10 years ago.
Bill worked for Armco Steel for 32 years, he was an instructor at Maple Wood Community College for 16 years. Bill is a member of the Church of Christ of Carthage. He volunteered at the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department as a delivery driver. Bill enjoyed all kinds of art and enjoyed painting.
Bill was united in marriage to Betty Fullerton March 7, 1953 in Eureka Springs, Ark.; she survives.
Bill is survived by one daughter Debra Mock of Kansas City, Mo., and two sons Mark Still and Mike Still both of Kansas City, Mo.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two sisters Shirley Berryman and Phyllis Phillips and one brother Ray Still, all of Kansas City, Mo.
Bill is preceded by his parents.
