  • L&P appoints new VP of business development

  • Leggett & Platt announced the recent appointment of Niels S. Mossbeck to the position of Corporate V.P. of Business Development. The position reports directly to CEO, David S. Haffner.

  • Leggett & Platt announced the recent appointment of Niels S. Mossbeck to the position of Corporate V.P. of Business Development. The position reports directly to CEO, David S. Haffner.
    In his new capacity, Mossbeck will concentrate on efforts which will enhance the profitable growth of the global, diversified manufacturer headquartered in Carthage. Initiatives will encompass product developments, market share expansion, and new growth platforms for the corporation.
    A 15-year veteran of L&P, Mossbeck has served in a variety of product development positions since 1998. Prior to joining Leggett, he was managing director and co-owner of a U.S. upholstered furniture company, and prior to that a co-owner of a Danish furniture company. He also served as a worldwide product manager of Ikea in their case goods and upholstered furniture lines. He is a native of Denmark, and resides in Carthage.
