  • Sharon Gail Loveland, 75, entered the Kingdom of Heaven Saturday morning June 1, 2013 at Freeman Hospital after a brief illness.
Sharon was born Oct. 28, 1937 in Carthage, Mo., to Andrew J. Clinton and C. Lorine Clinton, both preceding her in death. She was a life-long resident of Carthage who loved attending Mark Twain Elementary School. She was a member of the Carthage High School graduating Class of 1955.
Sharon attended Pittsburg State University and was employed with H.E. Williams in accounting. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Carthage.
Sharon was a loving wife, a homemaker, a wonderful mother, and a beautiful person. She was genuine, sweet, loving and loved to talk. She always made you feel welcome. She enjoyed baking for her family, making everything homemade, reading and attending movies. She was the ultimate bargain hunter and had the ability to win at all game shows.
Sharon leaves behind her husband, Frank D. Loveland, who she married Oct. 6, 1956. Their loving family includes two daughters: Kim Stiles, and husband Dean, Kit Loveland; two sons: Tim Loveland and fiancé Pam Whitehill, Brad Loveland and wife Suzette. There are six grandchildren: Stacy Daniels, Christopher Stiles, Jamie Loveland, Justin Loveland, Colton Loveland and Vanessa Loveland; two step-grandchildren: Emily Hornback and Erika Whitehill; and one great-grandchild, Tucker Daniels.
Sharon’s wishes were to hold a private ceremony which will be held in Park Cemetery in Carthage, Mo., Thursday, June 6, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts and contributions may be made to Ozark Public Television, at any Hometown Bank location, in memory of Sharon Loveland.
Everyone loves Momo and she will be missed by all!
