  • Kyle L. Miller, age 27, of Carthage, Mo. passed away at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

  • Kyle L. Miller, age 27, of Carthage, Mo. passed away at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. 
    Kyle was born Sept. 10, 1985 in Joplin, Mo., and was a lifetime area resident.  Kyle was employed with Americold Logistics in Carthage for the last eight years. Kyle was a member of the United Steel Workers Local #11-500. He attended Ignite Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, and other outdoor activities.
    Kyle is survived by his parents, Rick and Connie Miller, Carthage, Mo., his Fiancee’ Miranda Tally, her son Joe, and daughter, Lynnlea, a sister, Samantha Miller-Howerton and husband Justin, one niece, Kylie, and two nephews, Myles, and Jaxson, his Paternal Grandmother, Carolyn Emory, Joplin, his Paternal Grandparents, Ted and Joyce Blood, White Oak, Texas, and his Maternal Grandmother, Doris Stevens, Oronogo, Mo.
    Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Rev. Bobby Cooper officiating.  
    Burial will follow in the Osborne Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Josh Grissom, Ricky Seeley, Shawn Thurman, Dan Bothwell, Alex Walter, and Joe Switzer.  The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the Mortuary.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin, Mo.
