The latest production at Stone's Throw Dinner Theatre finished its first weekend with a Mothers Day performance today.
The play, “Plaza Suite,” is written by Neil Simon and directed by Betsy Fleischaker, in cooperation with Samuel French, Inc. Three plays take place in the same suite at the Plaza Hotel:
Act One focuses on what was to be a night of blissful celebration; but turns out to be one of truths and heart-ache for Karen and Sam Nash.
Act Two shows the “cat and mouse” antics of Jesse Kiplinger, Hollywood producer, and Muriel Tate, wife and mother of three, who are reuniting after seventeen years.
Act Three is the hilarious goings-on of Norma and Roy Hubley on the day of their daughter’s wedding. The only problem is the daughter has locked herself in the bathroom.
The cast features:
Bellboy as Tyler Cole; Waiter as Jalil Hamilton; Karen Nash as Raven Micale; Sam Nash as Tom Brown; Jean McCormack as Hannah Marsh; Jesse Kiplinger as David Kloppenborg; Muriel Tate as Melanie Kloppenborg; Norma Hubley as Shanti Navarre; Roy Hubley as Dee Hubbard; Mimsey Hubley as Hannah Marsh; Bordon Eisen as Carl Cunningham.
