Two Carthage men were arrested on Sunday after police say they found a methamphetamine manufacturing operation in a home in the northwest part of Carthage.
The Jasper County Prosecutor's Office file one count each of possession of chemicals with the intent to create a controlled substance against Dusty R. Hodson, 27, and Calvin L. Ratliff, 24, both of Carthage, this week.
The two were arraigned this morning and were still in custody at the Jasper County Detention Center in Carthage on $3,500 bond as of Wednesday afternoon.
In a written release, Carthage police said they responded to a call at 6:30 p.m. Sunday about drug activity at an address in the northwest part of Carthage.
The caller specifically said methamphetamine was being made at the address.
Police said they received consent to search the home when they arrived and found items and ingredients commonly used to make methamphetamine, along with pieces of drug paraphernalia that tested positive for methamphetamine.
