Ronald Dean Tuller, “Ron the Barber” 64, Carthage, Mo., passed away at his home February 21, 2013, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Ronald was born March 5, 1948 in Kansas City, Mo. He grew up there and served in the U.S. Navy for a short time in 1965. He left Kansas City for California and moved to Carthage in 1972. He married Rayma Thornburg on Sept. 5, 1970 at Carthage.
Two children were born to this union. Ronald worked as a barber most of his life. He had Rons’ Mug n Brush Barber Shop. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall. His ministry was one of the most important responsibilities in his life. He loved to tell others about his God, Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Tuller; an aunt, Mary Zimmerman, one sister and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Rayma “Cricket” Tuller of their home; one daughter, Christina Lynn Tuller Wells and her husband, Tyron, Carthage; one son, Matthew James Tuller, Carthage; two sisters, Eva McDowell, Emporia, Kan. and May Roberts, and her husband, Gerald of Laughlin, Nev.; five grandchildren, Rachel Lynn Tuller Wells, Elijah James Dean Tuller Wells, Caleb Nathaniel Tuller Wells, Mariah Ashley Tuller, Malikai Ashton Tuller, all of Carthage.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved as brothers and sisters. He was a friend to all and a loving father and grandfather. He will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage, Mo. Memorial services will be held in March at the Kingdom Hall in Carthage. Memorial gifts are suggested to the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, Carthage.
