Passionate about your marriage?

Carthage couple Jeff and Tina Hallmark certainly are, and they are bringing a special event to the community.

ONE Conference - Unify Your Marriage is a chance for local couples to enhance their relationships or marriages. It's an opportunity, Tina says, all couples can enjoy.

“Jeff and I have been married for 10 years and parents for eight,” she said. “We found out that marriage takes work. We realized how much it easier it was before kids, and how important communication is. We've been to marriage seminars in Branson, but never heard of any around here. So this is something we're passionate about and we wanted to share it with the community.”

The Hallmarks have invited keynote speakers Steve and Debbie Wilson, of Louisiana, the founders of Marriage Matters Now. Their Christian-based efforts in improving relationships while sharing God's love is a value the Hallmarks find important.

“They are just wonderful,” Tina said. “They hit on questions that come up on couples in every season of life … And it's teaching, not preaching.”

The seminar, “The Six Mosquitoes,” in marriage will cover questions such as:

Why does he/she do those things?
Are we the only couple going through this?
How can I get him/her to listen to me?
Is it too late for healing in our marriage?
Why isn't this fun anymore?
If God made marriage and intended it for good, then why on earth does it seem to be so difficult?
Our marriage is great, can it get any better?
