Lynda Sue “Loghry” Luney, 61, passed away Dec. 18, 2012.
Lynda was born July 23, 1951 to Ruth Marie (Baker) Loghry and Raymond Loghry in Pitcher, Okla. Lynda and her husband came to Carthage after her husband retired from the Air Force they have lived here for the past 18 years. Lynda was a home maker and published a book in 2004 titled “Mom, Dad, Rag Mop and Me”, she enjoyed drawing. She leaves behind three loyal companions Faze, Chasin and Rapids. Lynda was united in marriage to Daniel Elbert Luney Jr. March 3, 1977 in Siloam Springs, Ark., he preceded her Feb. 17, 2010.
Lynda is survived by two brother in laws Don Luney of Wentzville, Mo., and Robert “Dino” Wiggin of Enid Okla., three sisters-in-law Kathy Gibson of Ozark, Connie Shull of Carthage, Mo., and Amanda Luney of Van Buren, Ark., mother-in-law Judy Mitchell of Avilla, Mo., numerous nieces and nephews.
