Robert Carl “Bob” Pritchard Jr., 67, Seadrift, Tex., died after a long battle with cancer on Oct. 7, 2012.
Bob was born on Dec. 8, 1944. He was a 1962 graduate of Carthage High School.
After high school, Bob moved to Texas and was a mechanic specializing in working on Volkswagens and the restoration of classic cars.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl See, of the home; two sons, Rob Pritchard, Morning Sun, Ia., and his wife, Rhonda; and Derek Pritchard, Carthage; one stepson, James Turk, Seadrift, Tex.; three daughters, Carla Eppler, Baytown, Tex.; Shelley Shoaf, Beaumont, Tex.; and Shelby Pritchard, of the home; two brothers, Terry Pritchard and Barry Pritchard, both of Carthage; one sister, Cindy Pritchard, Sparks, Okla; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Pritchard Sr., and Virginia Pritchard, and his first wife, Judith Pritchard.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday in Seadrift, Texas.
